A. Rick Chrostowski's contracts have been returned. The school district has requested an invoice from him, which will
enable them to process payment. Staff is preparing flyers and posters to advertise the program along with news
releases.

cooperative efforts of Karen Moeller and her two seniors Noranda Anderson and Pat Jindra this program has been a
pleasant, satisfying, and enjoyable experience for all.

In at the Library". Teen incentives will be provided in part by funds from the 21 st Century Grant.
D. Work continues on the PR campaign related to the Integrated Library System. Thus far, the PR committee (myself
and Carrie Braaten from CEN) along with the support of Children's Clerk Kelly Olson, Children's Aide Cristy
Tombarge and ACL staff member Dawn Vinge have produced three ILS update newsletters, posters, signs, and
bookmarks to help promote the new system. A BIG thanks to everyone for their help and support on this project.

preparations for Summer Funtime/Storytime, preparations for American Girl, creating and printing flyers advertising
summer programs, continue preparations for the TMM project.
STAFF
A. The staff in the Children's Department has been very busy this month. Aide Cristy Tombarge created a new author
of the month display, Y A fiction Display and J Fiction display. She aided in the creation of the National Library
Week bulletin board and printed activity sheets for National library Week. Cristy also printed posters, PAC signs
and miscellaneous materials for the ILS project and transferred one ILS newsletter from a quark document into a
Word document for use by ACL.
B. Children's Clerk, Kelly Olson attended four and one half days of training on the new system. She aided in the
creation of the two ILS newsletters and the Anokat visual image. Kelly placed and received several book orders,
provided a layout and final copy of the Sampler newsletter, and began withdrawing magazines.
C. Pages have been busy checking donated materials against holdings, creating book order cards, putting shelves in
order and shifting books. They also cut and folded a number of brochures, booklists etc. A special thank you to
Stephanie Bengtson for her help in the creation of the National Library Week Bulletin board.
