RESOLUTION OF THE COLUMBIA HEIGHTS PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION FINDING THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT REVITALIZATION
PLAN FOR CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND
THE HOUSING REDEVELOPMENT TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO.
1 (A REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE PLANS OF
THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Columbia Heights and the Columbia Heights Economic
Development Authority have proposed to modify the Central Business District Revitalization Plan and adopt the
Housing Redevelopment Tax Increment Financing District No. 1 which is a redevelopment district (collectively, the
"Plans") and have submitted the Plans to the Columbia Heights Planning and Zoning Commission pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.175, Subdivision 3, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the Plans to determine their consistency with
the general plan for the development or redevelopment of the City of Columbia Heights as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning and Zoning Commission that the Plans are found to
be consistent with the general plans for the development and redevelopment of the City of Columbia Heights and
the Commission hereby recommends their approval to the City Council.
