COLLECTION PROJECTS: A. Paperbacks. The paperback collection was weeded and mended. New paperbacks were ordered, labeled and added into the collection. B. Cohians. The Cohian collection was bugged. II. MAINTENANCE PROJECTS: A. Fire Extinguishers. Gauges were checked January 17,2003. B. Security Gates. Filters were cleaned January 17,2003. C. Public Works. Public Works was notified about miscellaneous projects. D. Heights Electric, Olson Plumbing, and Citywide Locksmith. Calls were made to have these companies complete maintenance/repair projects. E. Air Fresheners. Restroom air fresheners were changed. III. TRAINING Excel Training. Excel training is almost finished. The final assessment remains. IV. MISCELLANEOUS: A. Damaged Bookshelf. The damaged bookshelf was maintained. B. Story time Kits. Entry of Marsha's storytime kits into the shared directory continues. C. Request Book. Names in the request book and computer system are being verified for authorization of pick up requests. D. Magazines. Magazine labels were typed, and magazines were given barcodes and bugged. E. Withdrawns. Circulation statistics were researched for potential withdrawns. F. Shelf-Reading Assignments. February shelf reading was assigned and posted. G. Month-End Memo. Attendance gate count, building use count, and Internet stats were entered into the shared directory and distributed to supervisors. H. Y ear- End Statistics. 2002 statistics were compiled for the following categories: gate counts, Internet counts, building use counts, children's programs, children's outreach, homebound statistics. I. III Drawer/Notebook & Statements. Items were maintained. J. Minutes. Staff meeting notes were typed and distributed. K. Voice Mail. The voice mail message was changed to reflect January holidays.
