In Jeanine’s absence in December, I started adding the new titles in the database. I continued to add titles (books, videos and audios) when Jeanine came back in order to avoid a big backlog of materials. I also assigned accession numbers to the new books. 2. Page training. I prepared two rough page-training schedules for January – February. I have also been revising the page quizzes and tests so that they are up to date and updating the page-training th manual. Training is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 30. 3. Year-end counts. Year-end counts for 2000 were completed for gate count, children’s program counts, building use counts, ILL counts and Internet usage counts. 4. Procedures manual. I have started revising and updating my procedures manual. This is being done so that when I cross train Jeanine and Kelly, the information will be current. 5. Large print rotation. The large print rotation was pulled and sent out in the delivery. There was a mix up with the packet numbers so Janet at RUM will send out a new listing. 6. Fodor’s 2001 order. I placed and received the order for the new travel guides from Fodor’s and the order was filled (except for 1 title) by Bookmen. Misc. 1. Magazine labels were typed on average twice a week and given to Kelly. 2. System maintenance and fire extinguisher maintenance were completed. 3. I replaced batteries and air freshener cans in two of the rest rooms. Mary has been asked to order more cans. 4. Voice mail was completed for the New Year’s holiday and also for the Martin Luther King Day holiday. 5. Bills and bill lists were prepared as needed. 6. The new shelf reading list was prepared with the addition of the page trainee’s name. 7. I checked out the bulk loan delivery and also discharged the returned bulk loan delivery and prepared the carts for shelving.
