FRIENDS
p.m. Two new people attended the meeting. They were Phyllis Charbonneau and Betty
Koerner. The Friends will collect books for Project Bookshelf but will not be
participating in the holiday distribution. The consensus of the group was that the new
SACA building is too small for the holiday distribution to be run smoothly. The Friends
asked if Becky could present the wish list at the December meeting. Becky said the 2001
budget has not been approved, and she will not be able to present the wish list until
February or March of 2001. After the Friends adjourned their meeting, they decorated a
box for Project Bookshelf. Rita Norberg volunteered to put in the showcase a display of
patterned /pressed glass. The January display will be collectible salt and peppershakers.
