HomeMy WebLinkAboutOperational Report from ShariTo: Becky From: Shari Date: October 26, 2000 Re: October 2000 Operational Report Projects: 1. 000-299 Replacements. I have filled out order cards for possible replacements for this area that we recently weeded. 2. Withdraws from Lynne—I pulled two envelopes worth of possible withdraws that Lynne had sent over. Newer editions were ordered for some of the titles that were withdrawn 3. Fidelity walk-thru. I had a walk-thru with the ladies from Fidelity and Mel who is now in charge of this. The new cleaner had just started so we hadn’t really had any problems yet. I have contacted Fidelity several times since then regarding extra rolls of toilet paper in the restrooms and the fact that the mirrors and doors were cleaned with the wrong cleaner and they were left streaked. Laurie agreed to come in and go over these items with the cleaner and it looks like they have been taken care of. 4. Microsoft training—I attended three training sessions on the new Microsoft programs. I look forward to being able to work through some of the training sessions on these programs. 5. Ready Reference. I have continued to update the ready reference drawer. I have gone through and removed all the items with phone numbers, verified these numbers and they will now be available in the rolodex in Becky’s drawer. Items that were references to books (arts and crafts projects and hard to locate items) have been typed up and placed them in the folders in the drawer by subject heading. I will also be updating the Rolodex numbers and verifying them as time permits. 6. Bulk Loan to the schools. I processed the bins for bulk loans for ICS. There were not as many this time but there were more items per bin. It takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete all the bins. 7. Air fresheners in the rest rooms. I have installed the air fresheners in the women’s rest room and the public rest room on the lower level. There were two complaints about the scent used but I informed them that this was the unscented spray we were using. Misc. 1. Magazine labels were typed an average of twice a week. I have been preparing labels for next year as time permits. 2. Bills were prepared as needed. 3. Fire extinguisher maintenance and system maintenance were completed. 4. The paperback order was placed and received. 5. I helped with ICS classes on several occasions. 6. I replaced the light fixture in the women’s rest room that had fallen out.
