I. Programs
:
A.
The Friends of the Library meeting was cancelled for October. The next
FRIENDS
scheduled meeting is Monday, November 6, at 1:00 P.M. at the library. The Friends will
stth
again sponsor Project Bookshelf and collect books from November 1 through December 8.

B.
This month, I selected and arranged delivery to eight homebound
AT HOME SERVICE
patrons. Sandi Enquist and Dave Briley were used as volunteers for the deliveries.
:
C.
I selected and delivered bulk loans to Heights Manor and Parkview Villa on
BULK LOANS
Thursday, October 5.
II. Collection development
A.
:
After faxing our order the second time, Qwest did deliver an order
PHONE DIRECTORIES
of Minnesota phone books. They will soon be labeled and shelved. This was an incomplete
order because some of the directories are published later in the year.
B. :
I completed my final order of books on tape. It was submitted with a
BOOKS ON TAPE
purchase order to Baker and Taylor.
III. Projects and goals
:
A.
I completed the necessary revisions to my procedures manual and
PROCEDURES MANUAL
submitted it to Jeanine for typing.
B. :
I completed the design for the Suggestions for Seniors
BOOKLISTS AND BOOMARKS
booklist and submitted it to Jeanine for typing. This will make a total of four bookmarks and
two booklists that have been completed and made available to the public. I hope to complete
two more booklists before the end of the year.

C.
I attended the Using Online Training workshop on Tuesday, October 10.

D.
I will be completing the monthly budget report on general office and library
REPORTS
supplies by the end of the month.
E.
:
I have completed one rough draft of the supply inventory on Excel. Although
INVENTORY
it stills needs some revision, it is almost in a working format. It took longer than I thought to
set the inventory form up, but it well work well once revised.
F. :
This month’s book display is October is Polish American Heritage Month
BOOK DISPLAY
and is accompanied by a booklist. Next month’s selection of display books will be taken

A. Prepared timesheets
B. Ordered and received supplies
C. Submitted copy for the November newsletter
D. Duplicated and posted best seller list
E. Updated patron records of address changes from notices returned by the post office
F. Added books to the COH NEW displays
G. Supervised staff while Becky was on vacation, October 18 – October 24.
H. I was gone from the library October 2 – 4 because my husband had surgery
