HomeMy WebLinkAboutOperational Report from ShariTo:Becky From:Shari Date:September 27, 2000 Subject:September 2000 Operational Report Projects: 1.I have pulled and withdrawn the 700's and the 000-200's that were given to me. The cards have been given to Mary. 2.I have pulled the original documents that were located in the vertical file. Copies have been made and I will be setting up a new file of originals that will be located in the ready reference drawer in Becky’s desk. The copies will then be filed in the vertical file. The ready reference files have also been weeded and are in the process of being updated. This drawer will also house the pathfinders lists. 3.The certificates for the memories contest participants have been printed and will be sent out soon. The prize for the winner was ordered and she will be presented with a tapestry book bag. A booklet of the memories has been prepared and each participant will receive one. The booklet will also be placed in the vertical file and perhaps some at the theatre. 4.I have finished the order cards for the 600 replacements. 5.I was made aware of some graffiti in the men’s room. Upon further inspection, I found quite a bit more. It was painted over but that does not seem to deter them. 6.I have ordered air fresheners for the women’s rest room and the children’s department rest room. The freshener located in the men’s room seems to have made a difference. 7.Marsha and Kelly gave me a demo on the bulk loan procedure. Marsha told me it would take about 4 hours to complete. I finished the 10 bins in 1 1 /2 hours. Marsha did tell me that there would be more items next time so I expect it could take up to two hours to complete in the coming months. 8.I have reprinted the information sheet on the library’s Internet site with the new address and phone number for Rum. These have been placed in the brochure rack. 9.I contacted public works about the auction items that needed to be picked up and also the bulbs that needed to be collected for disposal. 10.I made up a new fall hours flier and ran copies for distribution. Misc. Magazine labels were typed as needed. The ILL drawer and notebook were updated. Paperbacks were ordered and received. Bills were completed as needed. Melsa survey forms were completed and sent to LSS as required.
