Rebecca Loader, Library Director SUBJECT: Operational Report #62 (January 6-January 18, 1992) DATE: January 17, 1992 Significant Accomplishments A. The Friends met on 1/6 with ten members present. B. The Library Board met on 1/7 with all members present. C. The senior citizen program on 1/8 had 42 people in attendance. D. Registration.for pre-school storytime has been brisk. Departmental Goals A. Mary Cooper and Jeanine have attended sessions on dBase held at City Hall. B. The problem areas identified by the Fire Department (batteries for exit signs, batteries for emergency lights, box storage blocking valves for the sprinkler system, and maintenance on the sprinkler system) have all been remedied. C. The alarms on the emergency doors have been serviced. D. The library is distributing copies of Martin Luther King, Jr's speech "I have a dream..." for the Human Services Commission.
