Significant Accomplishments
A; 'Three sessions of Holiday Crafts were held on 12/17, 12/18, and 12/19
with a total of 100 participants.
B. Pre-school storytime registration has begun.
Departmental Goals
A. The Collection Agency section of the automated library system has been
activated, and the library is attempting to follow-up on old, major
delinquent accounts. This procedure is very new, and everyone is
~ :learning together.
B. Staff are working to clean up the materials database in preparation for
going online with the public access catalog in 1992. The library has
been online since February 10, 1987, and after four years, the database~
has'grown considerably. This process will be on-going.
Issues and Problems
A. Target donated a display Christmas tree to the library on December 17.
This beautiful tree will be used for many years to decorate the lobby.
