Rebecca Loader, Library Director~ SUBJECT: Operational Report #57 (October 21-November 2, 1991) DATE: November 4, 1991 Significant Accomplishments A. Two field trips were held on 10/21 and 10/23 with a total attendance of 45, Pre-school storytime on 10/22 and 10/23 drew 32 and 30 participants respectively. Joan Henderson from the Way'to-Grow House spoke to the parents during storytime. C. Tiny Tots on 10/24 drew 65 participants in two sessions. D. Pre-school storytime on 10/29 and 10/30 drew 35 children for each session, E. Tiny Tots on 10/31 drew 49 goblins and spooks. F. Thirteen Girl Scouts toured the library on 10/29. G. Kiddie Kollege brought 32 children to the library for Tricks-or-Treats on 10/31. H. The Sister City meeting on 10/24 had 6 in attendance. Departmental Goals A. Four round tables for the adult reading room were received on 10/22. B. Staff has been working with the Finance Department on the fixed asset report for the library. A working draft has been reviewed. C. On 10/22 staff attended the open house at the Senior Citizen Center. Issues and Problems A. On 10/30 a five-pound bag of flour was emptied down the library's bookdrop. Bill Antzaras cleaned up the resulting mess.
