Significant Accomplishments
A. The Friends met on 10/7 with ten members pre.sent:.
The [99l Wish
List was presented, and the Friends selected items for purchase for
the library.
B. Four sessions of storyhour were held: 10/8 (39 children), [0/9 (35
children), 10/15 (34 children), and lO/16 (34 children).
C. Four sessions of Tiny Tots were held: lO/JO (19 children and ]4 adnlts;
at first session, ]9 children and 16 adults at second session) and 10/17
(19 children and 14 adults at first session, 20 children and t6 adults
at second session).
D. Two field trips for Headstart classes were held on 10/14 with a total of
51 attending.
E. On 10/9 Carol Daly of M£nnesota Elderhostel presented a program to
75 senior citizens.
Departmental Goal
A. On 10/5 the evening supervisors had their !it-st staff meeting. These

B. On 10/17 Jean[ne and }o :~ttended a workshop called "Adapting to Change"

Issues and Problems
A. On 10/7 ~he hea~ing ~yscem developed a "bubbleTM which caused the
radiators to lose heat. Bill Antzar~s-; [£xed thc problem promptly.
B. (In 10/14 vandals attempted to put out one of tl~e flag pole lights.
Public Works was able to adjust the l.ight back to thc. correct an~lc.
