D. October is Polish-American ~teritage Month, and
Szymczyk have provided the library with a wonderful di~pi:~v, it can
be seen for the next month at thc library.
E. Jo and Becky went to Bookmen to purchase paperbacks.
F. ~n September Mary Cooper celebrated her fonrth anniversary ot working
for the library, and Mary Kloss celebrated her thirteenth anniversari.
Issues and Prob]ems
A. The outside entryway has been rc-.p~inted and safety tape 1ms been
applied to the steps.
B. Minneapolis is the host city for the sixth quadrennia] conference
for thc Nidwcst Federation of L~bt','~ry A~;sociat:ions. This i~ the first
time such a regional conference has been held tmrc, and thc library
staff will be attending d~rJng October 30-November 2. Many activities
and top-quality wortctsi~ops are sch(,du!ccI, and we are delighted ~o haw~
Chis opport~nity. Two trustees will :~iso be attending. A written
report will be presented aftc, r thc eve, t.
