Rebecca Loader, Library Director~ Operational report #41 (February 18-March 2, 1991) DATE: March 1, 1991 Significant Accomplishments A. Eight sessions of storytime were held with a total attendance of 320 people. B. Response to the first adult reading club ("Passport to Reading") has been very good with 116 registered as of 2/27/91. Departmental Goals A. The inventory of the library's fixed assets was completed 2/19. A print-out from the computer will be forwarded to the department for proof-reading. B. On 2/19 two recycling dumpsters were delivered to the library. The library is now recycling metal, plastic, glass, and office paper. C. The pages are working at moving the adult non-fiction into the new shelving. Temporary signage is helping in the meantime. D. Library Legislative Day was February 28. Board President Nancy Hoium and Becky met with Representative Simoneau and a staff person from Senator Frank's office. Library page Betsy Hoium has accepted a full-time position with the Minnesota Hospital Association. Issues and Problems A. None
