Significant Accomplishments
A. Winners in the "name-the-puppet" contest during National Children's
Book Week were: Adrian Urbanski and Joey Griffin. Both children
submitted "Rita Book" and were awarded cameras as prizes.
Departmental Goals
A. The 16-port multiplexor has been ordered.
On delivery, the library's
8-port multiplexor will be sold to the Anoka County Library.
The four tables and chairs have been ordered for the brown room.
Staff is looking for a donor for a matching dictionary stand.
The phone lines have been switched over. The new numbers for the
library are:

Issues and Problems
A. On 11/19 a hole probably caused by a pellet gun was discovered in
the center window on the north side of the building. Estimates
for its repair are being taken.
B. Four ballasts in the basement lighting had to be replaced.
C. Baker and Taylor, the library's main book supplier, has been
experiencing difficulties with processing orders. Few orders
were processed during November, but staff has been assured the
problems have been solved and regular delivery has been restored.
