Issues and Problems
A. On 8/28 the ~sslsslppl branch of the Anoka County Library was hit
by a "book slasher." A male carrying a briefcase set off their
security system, and upon pursuit, he dropped the briefcase. It was
found to contain the insides of many books. The librarians found the
covers of the books still on the shelves. This same individual also
hit the Crooked Lake branch on 8/25. A description has been posted
at all neighboring libraries.
