Rebecca Loader, Library Director pCb~ March operational report March 25, 1997 BUILDING MAINTENANCE A. The roof leaked 3/9, 3/10, 3/11, and 3/17 in the Northwest corner of the adult reading room. II. COLLECTION A. Becky and Shari went to Bookmen 3/6 to purchase adult paperbacks. B. A large print book order was submitted 3/14. II1. EQUIPMENT IV. PROGRAMS A. The Friends met 3/3 with seven members present. B. The Board met 3/4 with four members present. C. Children's reading club has 96 currently enrolled and adult reading club has 80 enrolled. Mo AUTOMATED CIRCULATION SYSTEM A. The County is getting ready to provide public access to the Internet on the catalog terminals. The projected start date is 4/1. VI. STAFF A. Karl Kyle completed training and passed her page test on 3/1. D. E. F. Her regular hours started 3/4. Kelly and Shad attended a MELSA workshop entitled "Shhh...May Not Always Work" on 3/5. Please see their attached reports. Mike Robideau resigned as chore person effective 3/19. Becky attended the first Jamboree/Heights Pride Meeting 3/12. Jeanine attended an Information Management Meeting 3/13. Marsha did not return to work in March. VII. J--~I""~"TE" w..I MISC A. Bo A new attendance survey procedure has started in 1997. The first survey day was 3/7, and these statistics will be used for the annual report. The State version of the 1996 annual report was submitted. Debra Patrin, IRS volunteer, has been maintaining the form racks 4 hours per week.
