DISPLAYS: I continued the display of "Blooming Books" which featured books on gardening, lawn care, and
landscaping.
The library was given the responsibility of having a display in the case in City Hall during the month of April. I
arranged and put up a display with the theme: Call. Visit. Log on. It featured the library's phone numbers and
Anoka County Library's dial access number. I also included in the display the many different types of materials
we circulate: CD's, paperbacks, audio books, and books. Children's services were also included and attention
called to them by the use of puppets and children's books. I removed the display on April 29.
HOMEBOUND SERVICE: I selected books for two homebound patrons and arranged delivery.
BULK LOANS: This month I selected books for two bulk loans. I selected thirty books for delivery to Parkview
Villa and thirty for Royce Place. Royce Place is a new client, and their representative wants to deliver books to
apartment residents. They completed a corporate card application and responsibility form early this month. They
will pick up and return books to the library once a month.

on April 20. 131 adult patrons registered for the club. The pdze drawing was held on April 22 and ten prizes were
awarded. Thirty-six club members attained the status of "Outstanding Reader" by reading ten books. Their names
along with the prize winners were submitted to the local papers for publication in the next edition.
BULLETIN BOARD: This month's bulletin board has the theme "Celebrate Books". It was displayed prior to
National Library Week and will continue throughout the month.

certificate to B. Dalton Bookseller.
