Reference - I have shifted the reference to allow room for the encyclopedias at the
beginning where they should be. ! hope to have the new labels up by the end of
next week.
Adult fiction paperbacks - ! shifted the adult fiction paperbacks to the last 8
shelves of the shelving where the encyclopedias used to be. This should allow
room for expansion as we keep adding new titles to this collection.
Juvenile rental videos - ! have moved these to the former encyclopedia are. They
are now shelved in alphabetical order on the first three shelves.
Adult classic feature films - ! have shifted these to four shelves previously
occupied by the encyclopedias. These are now shelved in alphabetical order by the
three letters of the call number.
Polish - American Heritage Month - ! have set up the book display for Polish
heritage month and ! have also made several signs to accompany the displays
provided by Bernie Szymczyak and the Dolina Dance Troup.
October Newsletter - ! helped provide a new look for the Library Sampler for
October with the assistance of the very talented (and beautiful) Kelly Olson. We
both found that the newsletter looks wonderful in color and the graphics in Quark
are never-ending. As we prepare for the November newsletter, we now have a
better idea of what the copier will and will not handle.
Homebound patrons - ! have pulled baskets of books for 3 homebound patrons
and arranged to have them delivered. ! have also handed out two applications for
homebound but they have not been returned yet.
Large Print rotation - ! pulled two packets and sent them on to their next location.
! received one new packet. Janet at APL had forgotten to get a new packet
together for us so we may have to wait for another packet.
Mary's duties - ! have filed vertical file information, newspaper microfilm and the
Valueline and Morningstar weekly updates.
Policy manual - ! revised and retyped the policies that Becky and the Library
Board had previously reviewed.
