Construction is the big news this month. The staff operated out of the basement for two weeks and moved back upstairs on the 28th. Unfortunately, power did not cooperate with the move, and the library could not open to the public till 3:30 p.m. on the 28th. The carpet is scheduled for cleaning, the new shelving is ready to be installed, the cable channel is back on-the- air, the computer terminals are back on the circulation desk, and normalcy is almost restored. Gestetner delivered a different copier to the library on August 30 for us to use for two weeks. Staff will be evaluating its effectiveness. B.
