Jo and Michelle have visited the schools with informational presentations and brochures for each child. This will be the first year the library has been able to participate in the MELSA summer reading club, and we are all excited about the high quality of the materials (drawn by Steven Kellogg) provided. This is also the first year the library will qualify for MELSA-funded live performances, and Jo has booked a show (she assures me the snakes are all well-behaved) and a puppet theatre for here. Thanks go to Marie Eng, Faye Kluk, Nancy Rathbun, and Evelyn Reinholdson for the lemon bars and brownies they baked for the May senior citizen program. Thanks also go to Marie Eng, Nancy Rathbun, Evelyn Reinholdson, and Madge Sandgren for helping to serve. The library has hired five new pages and a new choreperson.
