Sixty children participated in the Read-to-Me Club party on April 7. Preschool crafts for 3~-5 year-olds met twice a week for three weeks and had thirty children registered in each section. Tiny Tots crafts met once a week for thr~e weeks and had 40 2%-3% year-old participants each session. Thanks to Kitt Burgoyne for providing the raw materials for the bunny craft project. Greater Life Academy is now using the library on a weekly basis for classroom work. Philip Brondyke won the National Library Week guessing contest for children, and the results of the favorite book survey are posted in the children's department Mike Larson won the National Library Week drawing in the adult department His favorite book is War day and the Journey onward and his least favorite book is Moby Dick. The results of the reader poll show the wide diversity of opinions among the library's patrons! Only two commonalities did show up: favorite place (in bed) and time (evening). Thanks to all our participants. The library has five graduating seniors this year: Betsy Hoium, Kathy Koltes, Michelle Salsbury, Donna Whitehill, and Karen Wilson. These ladies have worked a total of 102 months at the library and have been instrumental in helping get ready for implementation of the automated circulation system. They will all be continuing their educations in the fall, and the staff wishes t~em the best in their future endeavors. 2]70: PROGRAM SUPPLIES K-Hart S&S Art and Crafts Tipp Novelty 2171: GffNE~AL gUPPLIEg , Anoka County Library Demco Bonnie Jewett Voss E1 ~ ic Supp~7 2180: BOOKS Baker & Taylor Bookmarket 8rodart Corporate report fact book .Gale Research Quality Books Thomas Publishing Co.
