The children's department has been busily getting ready for a big summer, but they
did manage to get in quite a few extra programs. On April 8, the Read-to-Me Club
party drew 60 participants who had qualified by completing the required number of
reading sheets. Four special field trips were hosted by Miss Jo for a total attend-
ance of 76 people. Six sessions of pre-school crafts had a total of 243 participants
over a two-week schedule.
Thanks go to Nancy Rathbun, Kay Reiners, Evelyn Reinholdson, and Madge Sandgren for
the Hawaiian wedding cake they baked for the April senior citizen program. Thanks
