Jo is maintaining a waiting list of interested people if there are any openings. Thanks go to Marie Eng, Faye Kluk, Pat Jindra, and Lee Wilke for the raspberry poke cake they baked for the February senior citizen program. Thanks also go to Marie Eng, Faye Kluk, Kay Reiners~ and Lee Wilke for helping to serve and to Evelyn Reinholdson, Senior Citizen Film Time Coordinator. Gloria and Peg attended the winter Municipals workshop on communication at the Earl Browne Center. They were impressed by Kathryn Barrington, the featured speaker, and came away with many new concepts and ideas. Becky and Mary spent some hard hours compiling facts and figures for the 1985 annual report, but are pleased to say that there are now 17,230 registered borrowers at the Columbia Heights Public Library. The annual report for the entire city will be on file at the library by mid-March. The staff, which is bombarded with tax-related questions at this time of year, participated in a survey about the public library program requested by the IRS, and hopefully, the results will give us all some much-needed relief from this added burden. The annual meeting of the City's Quality Circles program was held, and new co-facilitators Denise De~ars and Klm Moravick gave a report on their plans for re-vitalizing the program. those highlighted above, for the month included: 1. annual report 2. overdues 3. brochure preparation 4. publicity preparation 5.
