Immaculate Conception School has resumed its scheduled visits for the new school year. Thanks go to the Friends of the Library for providin~ ~,,gb~,,~ ho]es for the September senfor citizen program. Thanks also go to Kay Reiners, Evelyn Reinholdson, Madge Sandgren, and Lee Wilke for helping tO s~rve. The Friends Annual Chef Salad Bar Luncheon and Raffle was held on September 12 and received a warm response from all who attended. The food was delicious, the service gracious, and the raffle items tempting. Great job~ ladies! Becky participated in the North Central evaluation of media services in School District 13 this month. Part of a six-person team of visiting evaluators~ she got to interview staff, students, and admin- istrators about the program and to help with the exit presentation/ evaluation. It was very interesting to see the District's program and to talk to the people involved. Sl~e aisc go to be envious over all the Ap?]e computers and a-v equipment in the District media center.
