fansky for the banana cakes they baked for the March senior citizen
program. Thanks also go to Marie Eng, Hester Frandsen and Ruth
Miller for helping to serve.
Becky and Mary went to the record Store on March 18~ and the new re-
cords and audio cassettes will be available for checking out during
Mational Library Week~ April 17-23.
The library was featured on "The City Manager's Report', on cable tv
during the week of March 28. A filmed tour of the library and a film
clip of a field trip to the children,s department were used to illus-
trate the many services available from the library. This was the
staff's third experience with cable tv, and we all hope to continue
to improve our on--camera personnas.
The library will be accepting applications for pages during the month
of April. Applications %re available from the library and must be
completed and returned to' the library by April 30. Applicants must
be 15% years of age to apply. Interviewing will take place during
May and training during J~ne.
