The Read-to-Me Club ended with approximately 90 children receiving invitations to the party on April 10. Pre-school story hour finished the sprinq session on March 26 and Tiny Tots, which had been extended one week, ended on March 5, Over lO0 children saw the movie, "Abbott and Costello meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," on March 19. In conjunction with National Nutrition month, Lois Peterson put on two programs March 12 on nutrition for pre-schoolers. Thanks go to Connie Carlson, Pat Jindra, and Jane Polley for the spicy cranberry cupcakes they baked for the March senior citizen program. The library will be celebrating National Library Week April 5-11, and there will be special programs, contests, and several drawings for prizes. All of the staff is available to be taken out to lunch that week, but you should call early to make your reservation. The library was the recipient of a gift of books from the extensive collection of Dr. Gary Good's mother. Mrs. Good recently passed away, and Dr. Good was concerned that her books she, d continue to be used. Thanks to him, 6ecky was able to replace the missing volumes in several useful sets of books and to pick up some out-of-print volumes. The staff welcomes Robyn Eide as a new page starting on ~rch 31. Robyn will be replacing Paul Jarvi, who has decided to join the CHHS track team. During the month of April, the library will be accepting applications for replacing this year's oraduating seniors. Applicants must be at least 15½ years of age as of January I, 1981. Applications may be picked up at the library, and must be completed by April 30. Interviews will be conducted in May and those selected will begin training in June.
