It is evidently too early for gardening. One of the most popular (tens (n the library is the up-dated record collection. Thanks to Becky who seems to kn~,~ what it's all about, we have some records that appeal to the whole range of taste. ~e're also having fairly good luck at not losing them. Our mothers and preschool revised program during April vms well attended. He had so many mothers we had to move upstairs to the community room. Dr. Good came and answered questions about health. ~ had a cos- metic session, a cake decorating session, and Bob Jendro came with a slide presentation on how to discourage r6!bers in your home after my house was ransacked, bHth only two sessions a week we felt we weren't imposing on our speakers too much. l,)e also managed to get about 70 senior citizens in the Cmnmuntty room without too much crov~ing. They liked not having to walk the steps. The engineering department is getting estimates for black topping the south parking lot. One estimate for $780 doesn't seem too gross. The staff is also shopping f'c~* bicycle ~.acks. The bikes in the summer are crowding the sld~alk and are not safe unless anchored. Also there should be some planting in the front of the library and we have prices on some desirable items. The staff hopes to h~ve an open house soon with the helpf of the Art Club and the Friends of the Library. Some of the equipment has not arrived yet and a definite date has not been decided upon.
