As usun! the circulation figures are big news° January
showed a circulation ef ~oo, ~ an incre../se of almost 2000 over
last January° February will have about as many books out, an
increase of about I~00 over February a year ago. We ar~ now
averaging about 410 books a day~ including Saturdays° In 1963

There has been some work done at organizing the periodics&
section in anticipation of the larger quarters in the new add-
ition~ ~]e news magazines are betuE placed in files so that
the reference work in this department may b~ expsditedo in Jan-
uary there were 440 m~gazines checked out besides all of t'~ose
that are used in the library.
Daily there are pleas from residents cf Fridley to be able
to use our library° Some even go so far as to fs~sify their
residenc~o
