Meeting ~alled to order at 8:10 P.M. All members present.
~inutes of the last.meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Lange seconded by Spekulant, that the Building permit be granted to
Fred Spoor, 956 - h2nd Ave. N.E. for a 7~x15 Ft. Addition, on condition of
filir~ of Sketch and paying a doube fee. .Roll Call - AllAy es.
A request was made to have Arthur and Polk Streets fixed and oiled between ~lst
and ~J~th.Avenues, stating that they are ~filling to pay for o~]~ng. The City
Manager was asked to contact Minneapolis to see if they would put this street
back in shape and if not to oil same.
A request was received to park a trailer on the property of Walter Young, 250 -
~th Ave. N.E. by Fred Young and they were asked to investigate Trailer City.
A bi~ was received from the Einar Notor Co. for a new Police Car~- ~otionby
Trench seconded by Spekulant to accept this bi~ for a 19~0 Ford DeluxFordor,_
$1655.00~plus necessary accessories. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by Yencho Seconded by Spekulan~ to grant On and Off-sale Beer Licenses.

Second reading of Ordinance No.272, Being an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 7
being an Ordinance regulating the construction~ of Buildings, providing for
inspector of Buildings and regulating the fees thereof.

Resolution offered by Lange seconded by Trench, WHEREAS, the City Ordinance re-
quires property owners to keep their water meters accessible to the City water
department; A_k~ ~~, ~£ has been reported that in a number of homes, plumbing
work is r~quired before said meters can be properly serviced, NC.W~HEEEFORE, BE
TT RESOLVED, THAT THE City Nanager be, and he is hereby -directed to notify all such
property o~ners to have the required repairs made within a period of 20 days from
date of notice, and that in the event of the failure to do so, that the water be
