6th and 7th Street, from 52nd to 53rd Avenue.
Motion by Julkowski seconded by Hosch, that this alley be opened. Roll Call -
All Ayes.
The Storm Sewer construction in' back of the Heights~ Theater was discussed and
it was decided to hold'up this work for the time being.
'The City Engineer reported on the proposed storm drain for the area between
Polk and Tyler Street.
Resolution offered by Holm Seconded by Knutson, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the
City Council of %he City of Columbia Heights, deems it necessary to take for
Dublic use, the following described parcels of Land~

The~City Engiueer gave a report on a public water .line for ~?th .Avenue to
serve Lots 7,8 and 9, Block l?, Auditor's Subdivision o£ Walton's Sunny .
Acres Third, stating the cost would be approximately $6.50 per~froat foot
as this would serve only one side of the street. ·
Motion by Holm seconded by Knutson, that a Hearing be held at the nex5
regular meeting~ December 26th, on the installation of this watermain.

The~ City Engineer gave a report on the meeting wi~h the University
Developement Association regarding improvement of~University Avenue.
Plans are being made to get this work started in ~he near.future.
The~ Council asked that a resolution be drawn up and passed at the
next regular meeting.
Several city official~ were present at a meeting ~eld i6 the office of
the~lSinneapolis City Engineer, regarding Reservoir Blvd. resurfacing.
There will be another meeting in January. City of Minneapolis agreed
to ta~e' up the ties next spring. ~
The' City Attemney presented a letter he had received from E.S. Vevea,

County n~neer, regarding maintenance and snow plowing of~Comnty Ro~ds
in Columbia Heights. ~
