Resolution offered by Hosch seconded by Julkowski, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights ~?~t the ~ity Treasurer be~ and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor Fund as follows: $2,207.50 to the Police & Court Fund 1,678.49 to the Fire " 4,663.36 to the Street " 278.34~ to the Library " and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfer. An election is hereby ordered and directed to be Seld in and for the territory so proposed to be annexed on Monday the 28th day of May, 1956, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. The Polling place for said election shall be at 708 - 49th Ave., ins aid territory. The following three persons, each a resident of said territory, are hereby appointed as inspectors, who shall act as judges of the election, viz.: ~.~bel RobLuson, Geraldine Soderquist and Elaine Polzin. Said election shall be conducted so far as practicable in accordance with the laws regulating the election of town officers. 3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notices of said election to be posted in at least three public placcs within said territory, not less than tenor more than 30 days prior to the date of said election, and an affidavit of such posting shall be made and filed in the office of the City Clerk~ Said notice sh~ll have a copy of said pet. ition attached thereto. ~.
