Councilma~ Deeble introduced a written ordinance No.3~5 entitled "An Or~n~ance provi~ng for the Issuance of $350,000 of Bonds for Creating ~hd maintaining the City's Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund", which was given its first reading. On mo~tion made, seconded, and carried, said ordinance was ordered filed in the office of the Secretary of the Council and to be published as a proposed Ordinance in the June 16 issue of the Official Newspaper. First reading of Ordinance No.345, An Ordinance providing for the issuahce of $350,000 of Bonds for creating and maintaining the City, s permanent improvement revolving fund. Resolution offered by Deeble seconded by Knutson, WHEREAS: Lot 12 a~d Lots 43 to 53 inclusive, Block 5, Reservoir Mis have become delinquent because of non-pa2ment of taxes and asseasments, and; WHEREAS~ The City of Columbia Heights is desireous of acquiring said lots to be used for public purposes; THEREFORE BE IT PESOLVED$ that the City CouncLl of the City of Col~mbia Heights hereby petition the Board of County C~sioners of Anoka County to set aside and reserve for the use of the abo~e named City the parcel of land above described when forfeiture action is completed. That Leonard Holm and Bernard Julkowski be and they hereby are declared to be elected councilmen for a period of four years c~ncing the first Monday after the first Tuesday of July, 1955. That Clyde C. Johnson be and he hereby is declared to be elected Municipal Judge of the City of Columbia Heights for a period of four years commencing the first ~onday in july, 1955.
