A Hearing was held on the paving of alley betwee~ 5th and 6th Streets from
40th~to ~Tst Avenue. .
Motion by Holm seconded by Julkowski, that the C~ty Manager be authorized to proceed with th
the installation of this paved alley in B!o~k 52.~ Roll Cal~ - Ail Ayes.
A Petition was received for paving of alley in Block 5, H~lltop 2 .
Motion by Hosch seconded by Knutson, that the City Manager advertise a Hearing
for this Petition on September 13th. Roll C~all -All Ayes.
A Petition was received for water ex~. nsion on ~d Street between 44th and 45th.
Motion by Julkowski~ seconded by Hosch, that the City Manager advertise a Hearing
for ~his water exben~ion on September 13th. Roll Call - All Ayes.
A Petition was received for the opening of ~sqlley between Central and Van Buren,
from 44th to 45th Avenue.
Motion by Holm seconded by Knutson, that the City Manager advertise a Hearing
for the opening of this alley ~w September 13th, ~and that the Engineer be
prepared with an estimated cost. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.

Motion by Holm seconded by Hosch, that the City Mauager be instructed not to issue sAly
building permit to Block l, Rearrangement of Block "A", Col~mbia Heights Annex to N~
Minneapolis, unless the building permit be for a shopping center type building-of not less
than 50,000 square feet. Roll Call - Al! Ayes.
F~rst reading of Ordinance No.350, An Ordinance-authorizing the sale b~ the City of
Columbia Heights of certain Real Estate known as Lot 62, except the Easterly Seven and
Nine Tenths (7.9) thereof, Block Sixty Five (65)~ Columbia Heights Annex to Minneapolis.
Resolution offered by Holm seconded by Hosch, BE IT HEHEBY RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the City Manager is hereby empowered
to complete negotiations for the purchase of the South ½ of Lots 15,16 and 17,
except the south 42 feet thereof, Block 5, Reservoir Hills Addition, for the sum
of $1800.00. Roll Call - ~]l Ayes.
Motion by Hosch seconded by Holm, that Hartse & Schneider be paid the su~ of
$511.90. Roll C all - All Aye s.
Resolution offered by Holm ~econded by Knutson, the City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves, that, V~EREAS, Special Asses~eAt~ for Lot 16,
Block 15, Roslyn Park Addition on Job No.201 and 203 in the amounts of $25.00
and $16.22 have been paid in full;
HE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.
