Paron Motor Co., Minneapolis Motion by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that these bids be turned over to the City Manager for tabulation. Roll Call -Ail Ayes. A Hearing was held on the extension of water and sewer in the Roslyn Park Area. A large group of people were in attendance at this Hearing, some for this project and some against. Motion by Deeble seconded by Holm, to lay this water and sewer Hearing on the table until we receive Petitions with at least 51% of the ~peoples names thereon. Roll Call - All Ayes. A Recess was called at this time. Claims for damage were received from Velma Gowan, Henry Fugere and Win, Wilkinson. Motion by Holm seconded by Hosch, that these claims be turned over to the City Attorney. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Resolution offered by Hosch seconded by Knutson, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights .that prepayment of any Special Assessment to be made on any lot in the City of Columbia Heights shall be paid in its entirety. No prepaymamt shall be pro rated or apportioned on any one Lot or single parcel of land for the purpose of enabling splitting or further subdivision of such lot or parcel. Provided, however~ that should such lot, parcel or single tract of land front or abut two Streets or two Avenues, then prepayment of the total Special Assessment upon one ~treet .or Avenue seeking to be sold or released may be prepaid without requiring _ prepayment of the Assessments on the remaining Street or 'Avenue. Such prepayment procedure shall not apply on single lots, tracts or parcels fronting or abutting on one Street and one. Avenue. Roll Call ~ All Ayes. Mayor Stopka left the meeting at this time and Councilman Deeble took the Chaff. A request was received from Don Plochocki to open a dump at 40th Avenue between Polk and Tyl~er. Motion by Holm seconded by Knutson, that this letter from Don Plochocki be placed on file. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Resolution ~ffered by Holm seconded by Hosch,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that~Lot 7, Block. 4, Reservoir Hills Addition be and ~w is h~ereby designated as Park property for the purpose of establishing playgrounds~ and. other recreational facilities. Pro~ided, however, that such designation~is contingsnt upon commencement of improvements within one year from the date of.the adoption of this resolution; otherwise, the above lands will revert to the original status. Resolution Sffered by Knutson seconded by Hosch, The City Council of the City of Columbia.Heights hereby resolves that, WHEEEAS, Special Assessments for So. 54 ft. of the East Half of Lot 1, Block 4, Rearrgt..of Blk. "A" Cci.Heights Annex on JoB No.200 in the amount of $55.00 have been paid in full; BE IT ~EE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be ~and he is hereby authorized and directed t~ strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessmsnts. Resolution offered by Knutson seconded by Hosch, The City ~ouncil of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that, WHEKEAS, SpecialAssessments for No. 54 ft. of the East half of Lot 1, Block 4, Rearrgt. of Blk. "A" Cci.Heights Annex on Job No.2~O in the amount of $55.00 have been paid in full; HE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to striMe from the assessment tolls the aforesaid asses~ents~ Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Resolution offered by Holm seconded by Hosch, BE IT HEREBY EESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor Fund as follows: $4,216.25 to the Police & Court Fund 1,825.84 to the Fire Fu~d 4,821.58 to the Street Fund 382.26 to the Library Fund. and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquer Fund to make such transfer. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by Hosch seconded by Knutson, that the Bee= License Application of Michael Ondarko for 547 - 4Otb Ave. N.E. be denied and the money paid on license be re- funded. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. A meeting was set for Wednesday, March 30th at 7:30 P.M. with the Business Agent of ~ocal 664~ Motion by Holm seconded by Hosch, that Fred Provost, Route 3, Anoka, be granted a Rubbish license. Roll Gall - Ail Ayes. Motion by Hosch seconded by Holm, that Art Bolier be paid the sum of $2,306.60. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
