Motion~ by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that the letter f~om the Postoffice Department dated March 1st, be placed~ on file. Motion By Deeble seconded by Hosch, that the copy of Ietter from Walter Cottre~4i, police~ chief, be taken~ from the table~ Roll Call - 'Ail Ayes. Motion by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that we concur with the recommendations of the Police Chief and appoint a committee to study the personel and housing at the Police Station. Roll Call - Holm, Hosch, Deeble, Enutson - Aye. gtopka - No. Motion by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that a committee of Five be appointed to look 'into the Police situation. Roll Call - Holm, Hosch, Deeble, Kn~tson -~ Aye Stopka - ~No. Motion by Hosch seconded by Holm, that each Council member appoint one member to thi~ committee. Roll Call - Holm, Hosch, Deeble, Enutson - Aye Stopka - No. Councilman Deeble appointed Larry Ostrander to this committee. The rest of 'the Councilmen stated they would make their appointment at a later date. A meeting was set for M~rch 23rd at 7:30 P.M. with the Police Chiel. Resolution offered by D~eble seconded by Holm, The City ~Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that, WHEREAS, Special Assessments for No.~ of Lot 29 and Lot 30, Block 2, Roslyn Park Addition on Job No.257 in the amount of $97.70 have been paid~ in full; BE IT TPLEREFORLE RESOLVED THAT THE County Au~ito~ be and he is hereb~ authorized and directed to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid ad~essments.
