Roll Csll - All Ayes. Motion by Deeb!e seconded by Hosch, that the letter from J. Harvey~Hanson dated February llth be placed on file, asking for a water main extension'on 44th Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. A letter was received from Malcolm O. Watson, Secretary of the Zoning and Planning Commission regarding our existing building ordi~s~ces. Motion by Hosch seconded by Deeble, that this letter be turned over to the City Manager and a report brought back to the next meeting. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. A letter was received from Pete Heryla making inquiry regarding lot lo~cated at 4!st and 4th Street owned by the City of Columbia Heights. Motion by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that this letter be placed on file, dated February lSth. Roll Call - A!!Ayes. Motion by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that the City Manager be authorized to advertise for a Hearing on the Trunk Sewer and water main extensions in the Ros!yn Park area. Roll C~1 - All Ayes. Resolution bffered b~ Hosch seconded by Deeble, The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolwes that, WHW~, Special Assessments for No. 50 ft. of So. 117.19 Ft. of Lot 4, Block 3, Rearrgt. of Block "B",Col. Meights Annex, on job No. 200 ~_u the amount of $50.90 have been paid in BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to strike ~from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments. Resolution offered by Hosch seconded by Deeble, BE' IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City ~ o Councilor the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed t~ transfer from the Liqdor Fund as follows: $1,634.73~ to the Police &l Court Fund 1,377.14 to the Fire , 91~72 to the Library " and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquor ~und to make such transfer. Plum~ing Roll C_s.!! - Ail Ayes. A letter addressed to the Mayor from Police Chief Cottrell was read, regarding conditions of the Police D~partment. Motion by Deeble seconded by~ Hosch, that a copy of this letter be placed on the table. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Deeble seconded by Hosch, that Barney P. Dieringer and Anna M. Dieringer be paid the sumS of $200.00. Roll Call - All .Ayes. Motion by Hosch seconded by Deeble, that the matter ~f the request by the Activities Committee for a Bingo Permit for the Jamboree in June, be taken from the table, Roll Call ~- All Ayes. Motion by Hosch seconded by Deeble, that the Activities Committee be grantedt~e Bingo Permit ~hich they requested. Roll Cell - Ail Ayes.
