Motion hy Deeble seconded by Holm, that the bid on the Cash Register for the
Liquor ~Store be rejected. Roll Call - ~1 Ayes.
A Hearing was held for concrete curb on Tyler Street, blst to~ h3rd.
Motion by Hosch seconded by Deeble, authorizing the City Manager to proceed with
the ins~tallation of concrete curb on Tyler Stree% ~lst to h3rd. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Re~olution offered by Deeble seconded by Ho!m~ WHEP~EAS, The City Council of the
City of Columbia Heights has deemed it necessary for the preservation of public
peace, health, safety and convenience to install a Sanitary Sewer west of Reservoir
Boulevard from a point approximately 900 feet South of h2nd Avenue and e~bending
North to ~2nd Avenue, thence west along ~2nd Avenue to Lot ~2, Block 3, Reservoir
Hills, thence North to ~3rd Avenue N.E., and,
WP~S, it is necessary to acquire easements for the installation, construction
and maintenance of said Sanitary Sewer,
IT IS TP~RF~i'O~ RESOL~, that the City Attorney be and the same is~hereby auth-
orized and instructed to commence condemnation proceedings to acquire a perpetual
easement for the installation, construction and maintenance of a Sanitary Sewer
over and slong the following described parcel or parcels:

to Moore & Montgomery, covering the Reservoi~ Blvd. & ~2nd Ave. project. Roll C~ll - All Ayes
Motion by Deeble seconded by Holm, that the ~ity Manager be aubEortzed to adver~mse
for bids for a Gas Conversion Burner for the Furnace at the Fire Station. Roll Call-
All Ayes.
Motion by Deeble seconded by Holm, that the Beer License application of Juell F. ~aldren,
for 5~7 - ~Oth Avenue, N.E. be turned over to the Police Department for routine invest-
igation.
Motion ~ Deeble seconded by Hosch, that Art Bolier be paid the sum of ~11~397.85.

Motion by Deebte seconded by Holm, that the firm of }.[urnane & Murnane be paid the
sum of $3,596.95. Roll Call -Ail Ayes.
Resolution offered by Holm, seconded by Hosch, The City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves that, WHEREAS, Special assessments for Lot 15
and So.~lO ft. of Lot 14, Block 3, Roslyn Park Addition, on Job No.203 in the
amount of $22.48 have been paid in full;
BE IT THE~ORE ~tESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.

Resolution offered by Hosch seconded by Deeble, The City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves that, WHEREAS, Special assessments for Lot One (1)
Block Twenty-Nine (29) Columbia Heights Annex~ on Job No.200 in the amount of
$61.08 have been paid in full;
BE IT THEP~FORE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.

Resolution offered by Deeble seconded by Hosch, The City do~oncil of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves~that, ~.~HEREAS, Special Assessments for So. 20 ft.
of Lot 23 and No. 20 ft. of Lot 22, Block 45, Columbia Heights Annex, on Job No.
235 in the amount of $27.20 have been paid in f~ull;
BE IT T~REFOHE RESOLVED TH&T the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.

Resolution offered by Holm seconded by Hosch, BE IT HW~QEBY RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treasurer be and she is
herefy instructed to transfer from the Liqo~r Fund as follows:
$141.95 to the Fire Fund

and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfer%

The City Manager related that he had reached an agreement with the Engineering
Department of ~mneapolis, whereby Columbia Heights would maintain 37th Avenue
from Central to Stinson Blvd. and Minnespolis would maintain 37th Avenue from
Central to Main Street.
