is mull and void as. the necessary Easements were no{ obtained, and a new Petition
will~ have to be circulated.

Resolution offered by De.blue seconded by ~nutson, W~ERF~ the City Council of the
City~ of Columbia Heights did on November 5th, 1951 a~dopt By resolution Special
Assessment No.232,pertaining to the assessment of b?~nefitted property fo~ street
oiling; and,
WHEREAS since that time the policy has been changedlto the extent that the plan
is no longer applicable nor neces~sary; and,
WHEB~__S the said Special Assessment No.232 causes c6nfusion and overlapping of·
assessment;
NOW,~ THEREFORE,~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council 6f the City of Columbia
Heights that the County Auditor be and he is hereby' instructed to cancel all
assessments remaining on Special Asses~sment No.232 9ubsequent to the 1952 levy.
Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Resolution offered by Holm seconded by Hosch, The City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves that, ~HEREAS, SpeCial Assessments' for Lots
30,~1 and 32, Block 6, Reservoir Hills Addition, on~ job 228 in' the amount of
$399.36 have been paid in full;
BE IT THEREFORE RE. SOLVED that the County Auditor be~ and he is hereby authorized
and ~ directed to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.

Resolution offered by Holm seconded ~ Deeble, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED 'by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the ~ayor a~d City Manager be
authorized to execute an Easement with the Soo Li~% Railroad for the installation
of a Spur Track. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Deeble seconded by Holm, that the matter 'of the bill from Althaus Plbg.
Co.~ and Peter Heryla, be laid on ~the table. Roll 0ali - Holm, Hosch, Deeble,
Stopka - ~es. Knntson - No.
Resolution offered ~by Deeble seconded by Hosch, BEFIT HEREBY RESOLVED by the
City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that~the City Manager be authorized
to negotiate a contrac~ with Mr. Sumner T. Francis ~for the hauling of Garbage
for the months of November and December, 1953, sup~plementing the present contract
by ~ sum not to exceed $400.00. Roll Call -~1 Ayes.
Motion by Knutson seconded by Deeble, that a Heating License be granted to
O.F. Kohl Co., 1008 Marquette Ave. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Notion by Deeble seconded by Enutson, that November 19th at 7:30 be held as a Budget
Meeting in place of the Hilltop matter. Roll Call - All Ayes.

comment regarding the article in the Argue regarding recreation be eliminated.

authorized to execute a contract with the Village of Fridley for the sale of
sewerage capacity. Roll Call - All Ayes.

County Auditor dated November 13th, be placed on file. Roll Call - All Aves.

Transit Co. dated November 9th, be placed on file. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
