City ~[anager for tabulation. Roll Call - All Ayes.

over to the City Manager for tabulation. Roll Call - All Ayes.
A Hearing was held at this time on the Central Avenue Assessments.
Resolution offered by Holm seconded by Deeble, BE IT HEEEBY RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the Central Avenue Paving from
40th to 45th be assessed at the rate of $1.82 per front foot. Roll Call - Holm,
Deeble, Stopka, - Yes. 7.ange - No. Spekulaut - Not voting.
Resolution offered by Deeble seconded by Holm, ~ IT .~REBY P~SOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the area dedicated by the City Council
as contributory to the Storm Sewer on Central Avenue, be assessed at $1.00 per front
foot. Roll Call - Holm, Deeble, Stopka - Yes. Lange-No. Spekulant-Not voting.
Resolution offered by Deeble seconded by Holm, BE IT P~EE~Y RESOLVED by the_ City
Council of the City 8f Columbia Heights, that the Assessments for the paving on
Central Avenue' from ~Oth to ~th and also the Storm Sewer for that area, be spread
over a period of eight (8) years at an interest rat~ of 3%. Roll Call - All Ayes.

Recreation Co~ssion, pursuant to Chapter 233, Laws of 1937, as amended.

First Reading of Ordinance No.310, Being an~_~rdinance amending Ordinance No.171,
Being: "An Ordinance for the purpose of promoting health, Safety, Order, conven-
ience and General V.~elfare, by regulatfi_ng the use of Lan~, the location and the use
of buildings and the ~r~angement of building lots~ and the density of population
in the City of Columbia Heights."
Notion by Lange seconded by Holm, to recall the tabled motion of April l~th,
regarding the salary of the Liquor Store Nanager. Roll Call - All Ayes.

Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the Liquor Store ~{anager,s Salary
be set at $6,000.00 peryear. Roll Call - Holm, Lange, Spekulant ~- Yes

bids on Liquor Dispensors. Roll Call - All Ayes.
A request was received from Ers. Sophia Houglum, 4533 Madison St. to connect to
our water.
Eotion by Holm seconded by Spekulant, that this request be granted upon payment
of the proper fee. Roll Call- ~l Ayes.
~.otion by Lange seconded by Holm, that the City ~anager v~ite a letter to the
Fridley Village Council, regarding connecting to our Se~er and Water and explain
the situation and how we arrived at the figures, and asking for a meet~_~ ~i th
them on ~',ay 12th. Roll Call - ~11 Ayes.

Annex on Job No.200 in the amount of $.44.00 have been paid in full;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to strike From the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.
