Motion by Deeble seconded by Spekula~t, that the letter from the Village o£ Fridl~F
regarding the matter of connecting to our Sewer and Water, be turned over to the
City Manager. Roll Call - ~'1~] Ayes.
Motion by Lange seconded by Speculant, that the req~uest of Raymond C. Nelson, to
purahase property on Quincy St. N.E. from the City, be turned over to the Park Board.
Roll Call - all ayes.
A letter 9as received from Mary Quiatt Clark, giving her qualifications and stating
she %ould like to se~.~ on the Library Board.
Motion by Holm seconded by Deeble, that her name be placed on the list of prospects
for the Library Board. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Resolution offered by Lange seconded by Hob, E I~ HF~REBY RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treas~zrer be and she is hereby
instructed to transfer the ~ of $6,000 from the Liquor Fund to the Sewer Fund, and
that there are sufficient moneys in said liquor fund to make such a transfer.

Institute of Muricipal Clerks annual conference to be keld there Nay 20th through

Notion by Holm seconded by Spekulant, that expenses be authorized to those attending
the Eunicipal Short Cmurses at the University of Minnesota March 16th through 21st.

The Mayor announced a l0 minute recess at this t_~me, to. look for a document in the sale
of land to Chet Herringer and John Cedarberg. · ~
Motion by Lange seconded by Holm, that the City ~anager~ be instruzted to get a release
from Chet Herringer and John Cederberg for any cl~aim ta property they may have against
the city of Columbia Heights in regards to Lots ~ and ~, Block~ Second Subdivision
of Blocr~ F, according to councml leg~slatmon made on October 23, 195~I. Roll Call - All Aye~
A Regional Comference is to be held at the University of Minnesota at 9 A.~. on
March 23rd, in the ~useum of Natural History Building.
The matter of a bus route in Hilltop was referred to the Hennepin Transit Co. sometime
ago and nothing further has been heard from them. The City 5~.anager was asked to follow

Elsie Werme~rsk~_rchen~ 2018 - ~lst Ave. N.E. appeared at the Council Meeting and gave
her qualifications ~d demanded to know why she is not qualified to serve on the
Police Civil Service Co~ssion. No action was taken by the Council.
