Resolution offered by Spekulant seconded by Holm, HE IT HERE~ RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor Fund as follows: $1,106.23 to the Police Fund 1,784.84 to the Fire " 4,993.99 to the Street Fund 210.36 to the Library Fund and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfers. The Chairman announced that this was the time and olace for opening of bids for the ~chase of $60,000 Water Utility Improvement Bonds &nd ~90,O00 Permanent Improve- ment Revolving Fund Bonds ~f the City advertised for-sale in accordance with the resolution of the City Council adopted June 2~,19~2. The City Manager reported that the notice of sale as required by said resolution had been duly published in the official newspaper aud in Commercial West. The City of Columbia Heights shall forthwith issue and deliver its neg- otiabl9 coupon Water Utility Improvement Bonds in the aggregate principal amount of $6Q.000, dated as of July l, 1952, said bonds to be 60 in number, numbered I to 60, inclusive, each in the denomination of $1000, and shall matu~e serially in th~amount of $6000 on July 1, in each of the years 1955 t~rough 1964, all without option of prior payment. The City Manager is authorized and directed 6o furnigu to the purchasers of 'said bonds~ and to the ~attorneys spproving the legality thereof~ certified copies of all proceedings and records of the City relating to said bonds and to the financial affairs of the City mud such other certificates as may be required to show the facts as to the power and authority of the City to issue said bonds within his knowledge or as shown by the books and records ~: under his control and custody; and such certified copies and certificates, including any heretofore furnished, shall be deemed repre- sentations of the City as to the truth of the facts purported to be shown thereby. 10.
