Craig Co. be rejected and the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to re-advertise for bids on said materi~l. Roll Call - All Ayes. Pesol~tion offered by Lange seconded by Hol$, ¥~EAS bids submitted on curb and gutter did not comply with specifications, resulting in confusion to the bidders; THE CITY COI~CIL OF TPR~ CITY OF COLL~BIA HEISTS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE that the bids received be rejected and the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to re- advertise for bids on curb and gutter. The School Board was present to meet with the .viilk~son Home Finance Co. and the City Council to discuss the acquiring of a School si~ in Hi'lltop Addition, which the Wilkinson Home Finance Co. ~s going to deed te the School Board. Two sites are available and after the School Board has made a .further investigation, they will state their decision. Motion by Lange seconded by Deeble to adjourn, at 9 ~8¥T Call - Ail Ayes. OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Regular Meeting May 27, 1952 Meeting called to order at 8 P.M. All members present. Minutes of the last regular and special meetings were read and-approved. The Mayor made a request that the motion be rescinded, which gave the Civic Improvement Association permission to operate a Bingo conc~ssion at the June Festival. Motion by Deeble seconded by Lange, instructing the City Manager to seek information from the Civic Improvement Association as to whether they are a charitable or profitable organization~ Roll Call -Deeble and Lange - Yes. Holm, Spekulant and Stopka - No. Motion by Spekulant seconded by Deeble to pay the following bills out of their proper funds. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
