Stopka - No. A Resolution was o~f~red by Deeble and seconded by Stopka, providing for the payment of time and one-half for eight legal holidays to the Policemen. Prestemon resigning from the ZoniuE and Planning Commission. ~otion by Deeble seconded by L~uge, to reconsider the appointments to the various commissions that were tabled at the last meeting. Councilman Lange introduced a written Ordinance No.302, entitled "An Ordinance Providing f~ for the ~issuance of $60,000 of Bonds for Improvement of the City's Water Utility~, which wa was given its first reading. Com~cilman Lange introduced a written Ordinance No.302A, entitled .An Ordinance providing for the issuance of $90,000 of Bonds for Creating and Maintaining the City's Permanent Improvement Revol~g Fund." On motion made, seconded, and carried, the two foregoing Ordinances were ordered filed in the office of the Secretary of the Council, and each of them to be published as proposed ordinm~ces in the May 1st, 1952, issue of the official newspaper. A public Hearing was held on Petition for HiLltop No.~ Improvements. Motion by Deeble seconded by Spekulant, authorizing the City Manager to advertise for bids according to specifications submitted by Hilltop No.1 residents. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by Spekulant seconded by Lange, authorizing execution of agreem~ut by our City Manager ~and City attorney with ,the City of ~inneapolis, that the City of Columbia Heights ~will-authorize the construction of the Storm Sewer in Hilltop ~rl, with the distribution of cost by Columbia g~eights 62~1%, by Minneapolis 37~%, to the manhole in Fairway Drive ~d West Upland Crest, and 75% by Columbia Heights and 25% by~ Minneapolis from ~ere into the lake. Roll Call -~11 Ayes. Motion ~y Deeble seconded by Spekulaut, authorizing the City Engineer to draw up specifications on the Hf.l!top Storm Sewer. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
