Holm absent.
~otion by Deeble seconded by Spekulaut, that Joseph wargo be appointed secretary
for this meeting. Roll Call -All Ayes.
First reading of Ordinance 292, An Ordinance authorizing the sale by the City of
Columbia Heights of certain Real Estate kno-,m as - All of Block two (2), except
lots one (1), two (2) and three (3), 2nd Subdivision of Block "f", Columbia
Heights annex, all of Lots three (~) to fourteen (l~), inclusive in Block three (3),
2nd Subdivision of ~ock '!f", Colmnbia Heights Annex, all of Outlot "B!' 2nd Sub-
division of Block "F", Columbia Heights Annex.
First reading of Ordinance 295, ~eing an Ordinance vacating 38-~ Avenue N.E. from the
west line of Jefferson Street N.E. to a point ~05.5 feet east of the East Line of 5th
Street N.E., thence North to the point of intersection of said 38½ Avenue ~.E. to the
South Line of 39th Avenue N.E.

~otion by Deeble seconded by Lange to accept the bid of the ~. H. ~gler Co.
for a new grader ~ith V-Plow, Hydraulic Booster steering vheel, Defroster,
~lnds~hield %]~iper, Lights, and Heavy Duty Generator, at $16,882.60. Roll Call -
All Ayes.
~otion by Lange seconded by Spekulant, that the Craddock Co. of Kanaas City, ~o.
be awarded, the bid for new Band Uniforms at ~63o45 each, ~4,758.75 rot'al price,
provided that the Band Board provides out o£ non-city funds all sums in excess
of ~1,000.00, required for said contract. Roll Call - All Ayes.
First reading of Ordinance No.296, Being an Ordinance amending OrdLu~uce No.l?!,
being "An Ordinance for tb~ pu_?ose of promoting health, safety, order, conven-
ience ~nd general ~lfare, by regulating the use of land, the location and the
use of building snd the arrangement of building lots, ~ud the density ?f pop-
ulation in the City of Columbia Heights.
