Motion by Deeble secbnded by Holm, that the Water Tower bid be awarded to the Pittsburgh-DesMoines*Stee! Co. for the total sum of $44,225.00. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by Lang. seconded by Spekulant, that the City Manager return all the data pertaining to the Water Tower Bids. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by Deeble seconded by Lange, to pay the bill submitted by Professor W-rose, in the amount of $422.50. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by Lange seconded by Spekulant, to place on the Assessment rolls Sanitary Sewer on Quincy between 44th and 45th, in the amount of $2,365.72. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Lange seconded by Deeble, to place on the Assessment Rolls Road Oiling as follows: 43rd Avenue between Central and McLoed. Jackson Street between 37th and l~lst Avenue. Washington Street between 42nd and 44th Avenue., 3?th Avenue N.E., that~ portion within the City of Columbia Heights. Roll Call - Ail Aye~s. Resolution offered by Lange seconded by Spekul~t, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the pay schedule of the following city employee shall become effective as of October 1st, 1.951: Acting Engineer $1.75 per hour. Resolution .offered b~ Lange seconded by Holm, TPE CITY COUNCIL OF coLUMBIA HEIGHTS RESOLVES THAT ~,~EEEAS, the City Council has at various times met for the p~urpose of d~scussing the budget for the year 1952, and ~EHEAS, The City Couq~cil has determined that the following amount of the Budget be raised by taxation, NOW THEHEFORE BE IT P~REBY RESOLVED that the County Auditor of Anoka County be and he is hereby instructed and authorized to levy the following amounts for the year 1952 for various city funds as follows: Administration $19,O00.00 Police & Codrt 23,000.00 Fire ~ 12,000.00 Street Maintenance 33,000.00 Library 2,000.00 Park _ !0,000.00 Total $99,000.O0 BE IT FURT.UJKR RESOLVED .THAT the County Auditor be and he is hereby instructed to levy a tax of one-tenth of one M~ll_ (.1)Of the assessed valuation of the City of Col,~bia Heights for the Firemen's Relief Association.
