Notion by Spekulant, seconded by Lange to appoint ~r's. Duchscherer as secretary pro tem in the absence of the regular secretary. Roll Call - all ayes. Bids were received from the following on grader: Washover Cook & Co. - A & ~¥ Company of Austin, Einn. - The Ziegler Cg. and Ruff re'ge Johnson. ~otion by Holm, seconded by Deeble that the bids be turned ovgr to the City 5~anager for tabulation and report back at the next meeting. Roll Call - all ayes. Five people appeared iu protest to the vgcating of the alley immediately south - of the Cornelius Co. Motion by Spekulant, seconded by Lange, to table the matter o1' vacating the alley. Roll Call - all ayes. Eotion by Lance, seconded by HoLm, to award the ~arbage collection contract to Sumner T.'Francis for unstrapped garbage c011ectionwith the condition he suppl~ the City w~h a $2000 bond - effective June l, 19~2. Roll call - all ayes. Eotion by Holm, seconded by Spekulant, to table the matter o£ sewer equipment for two weeks. Roll call - all ayes. Eotion by Lange, seconded by Deeble, that the matter of the petition for the v~ater main on ~.'!o~nroe be turned over to the City ~ianager for further study and tabulation. Roll call - all ayes. ~otion by Holm, Seconded by Lange, granting the Col. Hts. Activities Committee use of the City Park from June l? to June 22, 1952 for their Jamboree. Rol~l Call - all ayes.
