All members present.
~inutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.
Mr. M. Wiltsey was in and asked permission to live in a trailer for sixty days
and the~ in a basement until November 1st, on 7th Street, Lot 14, Block 24.
Motion by Lauge seconded by Trench to grant this request with the agreement that
he would have to v~cate if the house was not built by November 1st, 1951.

A Petition was received from Kenneth H. Lee, 39th & Stinson to connect to o~r
water. Motion by Lange secor~ied by Spekulant to grant this reguest at the

Literature and displays on Public Utility Poles.

Resolution offered by Yencho seconded by Spekulant, BE IT HEHEBY RESOLVED by the
City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City treasurer be and she 'is
hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor Fund as follows:
Fifteen Hundred Dollars to the Police & Court Fund
One Thousand Dollars to the Fire Dept. ,'
Two Thousand Dollars to the Street "
Five Hundred Dollars to the Library ,'
and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfers.

A letter was received from the Civic Improvement Association requesting permission
to operate the Bingo Game duri~ the Jamboree, June 22,23 and 24.
Motion by Lange seconded by Yencho, that the City Manager write them granting
this request. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Yencho seconded by Spekulant, to grant the request of the Minneapolis
Gas Company for main extension No.149. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
A letter was received from the Secretary of the Library Board asking the City
to pay for four gallons of paint to be used in painting the building front where
the library is housed. Motion by Spekulant seconded by Trench to grant
this request. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion .by Yencho seconded by Lange, that the Holm Plumbing bill for $113.60 for
Bew~e~!Riser at 3856- 2nd Street be paid, and that it be deducted from bills of
Orfei & Marianni. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Trench seconded by Lange, to authorize payment of $700.00 on Project
No.409-597 on Thomas account in full. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Notion by Yencho seconded by Spekulant to pay the Sebco, Inc. bill of $2709.90.
Roll Call - All Ayes.
Notion by Spekulant seconded by Lange, to accept the bid of L. Paulle Midway,
for a Bar Extension at the Liquor Store at $3,463.00. Roll Call - All Ayes.
