an unnecessary accumulation of letters, invoices and other records not
required to be kept by law, and which because of their age are no longer
of any value to the City of Golumbia Heights; A~ WheREAS, it has been
ruled by ~he Attorney General~s Office that such old and worthless records
may be destroyed~ NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESGLVED, that the City Clerk be
and she is hereby authorized to destroy the following records, after the

the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that, WHEREAS, Special Assess-
ments for Lot Eight (8) Blk. one (1) Rearrgt. of Blk. "B" Cci. Heights
Annex on Job ~00 in the amount of ~122.16 have been paid~ in full;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the County Auditor be and he is hereby
authorized to strike from the assessment rolls the aforesaid assessments.

south of .the theatre be ~turned over to the Planning Commission and ask
for their recommendation to the City Council and what they should

Motion by Spekulant seconded by Trench, pursuant to ordinance No.276
The City Manager be and he is hereby instructed to advertise for the
sale of $60,000.00 Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund Bonds and
$25,000.00 for Traxcavator and Fire Truck, and that the date of Bond
Sale be set for 8 P.M. March 29th, 1951. Roll Call - All Ayes.
M r. Semotuk, 4404 Washington St. N.E. was informed the petitions
for water and sewer on Washington St. between 44th and 45th could
not be acted upon until ~ least 51% of the property owners signed
the petitions.
Motion by Spekulant seconded by Trench, that the ~ity Manager prepare
specifications and call for bids on grading of streets and laying of
water mains in Hilltop addition. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by Spekulant seconded by Trench to pay for the new Police car
at $1310.50. Roll Call - All Ayes.
