A request was made to hold the Jamboree on June 22, 23 and 24th. Motion by Trench seconded ~y Lange to grant this request subject to the approval of the Park Board. Roll Call - Lange, Trench, Spekutant and Yencho: Yes Pres~emon - No. A Petition for Water and Sewer was received for Washington St. between 44th and 45th. The City Engineer was requested to investigate and secure the cost. Bids for Asphalt Tile Flooring for Liquor Store w~re opened from the following: Cook Paint Co. $479.00 - Sebco $967.00 - Pliam Linoleum $788.00 - Gsmble Skogmo Co. $1550.00. Notion by Lange seconded by Yencho to accept the~bid of Cook Paint Co. for $479.00. Motion py Lange, seconded by Trench, that the following Resolution be adopted; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the City Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor Fund as follows: One Thousand Dollars to the Police Dept. fund; One ~Thousand Dollars to the Fire Dept. Fund; Five Thousand Dollars to the Street ~ept. Fund; Five ~ndred Dollars to the Library Fund; and that there are suffici2nt moneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfers.
